Winstars would like to congratulate all of our athletes who qualified to the Eastern Canadian Championships taking place May 5-7.
This year Winstars has seven T&T athletes attending these championships taking place in Amherst, NS competing in all three trampoline disciplines. Both coach Rob and Alyssa are excited to travel to the east coast with these hard working athletes.
Winstars is so excited to have Anis B. qualify to these championships. Anis B., who has autism, is an amazing person and hard working athlete. Anis B. recently brought home his first gold medal at the 3rd T&T qualifier in Oshawa. Winstars is so proud of Anis B. and his outstanding accomplishments in this sport. There are NO boundaries or barriers for this young man in his sporting career. Go Anis!!
This is the first year that Winstars has had a WAG athlete qualify for Eastern's taking place this year in Sackville, NB. Holly L. has worked very hard over the last several years after coming back from a devastating injury from breaking both arms in a gymnastics fall. She has persevered and challenged herself to improve her skill level in order to compete at Level 7 the last two years. It's this determination which has allowed her the success of qualifying for these championships as a member of the Ontario four member team.
We congratulate Holly L. and coach Karen on their great success this year!
Best of luck to all our Winstars athletes in the east coast!!
